JOB VACANCY: TEMPORARY SYSTEMS DEVELOPER, GRADE C2 X 2 POSTS (FIXED-TERM)
The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) is inviting qualified, honest, self-motivated and experienced applicants for the following post:-
Temporary Systems Developer Grade C2 x 2 Posts
Reporting to the ICT Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following among other duties:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software problems;
- Assist in the design and development of modules based on functional and system requirements.
- Participate in testing processes and development work;
- Utilize captured requirements, develop, amend and maintain new and existing software;
- Provide input across the full project life-cycle, guiding the solution from concept through development, testing and onto post implementation support;
- Troubleshoot problems and correct issues as are reported by users;
- Assist in the analysis of current programs including performance and designing solutions to problematic programming;
- Participate in daily development and support issues.
- Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Proficiency in programming (C#, Java)
- Programming databases i.e. MS SQL databases
- Writing simple to complex SQL statements following business requirements
- Designing reports using Crystal report designer or MS Power BI
- Using Github/GitLab as source control
- Programming skills in ASP.Net Core Web API
